Daily Dude Strategy Guide
Master the daily challenge mode with Pre-Posted Flyers and Relic Pool optimization.
Daily Dude is How Many Dudes?’s curated daily challenge mode, where every player worldwide faces the same Pre-Posted Flyer configuration each day. This shared challenge creates a leaderboard dynamic and lets you compare your performance against the entire player community.
What Makes Daily Dude Different
Unlike a standard Main Run, Daily Dude presents a fixed Pre-Posted Flyer — a preset configuration of Dude families and Relic Pool probabilities that every player shares for that calendar day. This means:
- You cannot control which Dude Families appear in your pool
- The Relic Pool probabilities are predetermined for the day
- Your squad composition options are constrained by the Flyer’s configuration
Pre-Posted Flyers Explained
A Pre-Posted Flyer is a Flyer that gets posted before a run starts, locking in certain Relic probabilities. In Daily Dude:
- The game generates a specific Flyer configuration for that day
- All players worldwide receive the same Flyer
- Relic Pool probabilities are skewed toward specific families based on the Flyer
- Your strategic task is to read the Flyer and build the best possible squad given its constraints
Reading the Flyer
When you enter Daily Dude, the Flyer display shows:
- Highlighted Dude Families — these families have boosted Relic drop rates for today
- Synergy Bonuses — which family combinations are most likely to be active given the Flyer’s pool configuration
- Recommended Strategies — a starting hint about which playstyles the Flyer favors
Your first task upon entering Daily Dude is to identify which families have the highest Relic probability and build around those. If Undead and Fantasy are highlighted, prioritize a Zombie/Necromancer/Wizard/Cleric composition.
Relic Pool Strategy
The Pre-Posted Flyer changes which Relics are likely to appear. Use this to your advantage:
If the Flyer favors Undead Relics:
- Build around Zombie + Necromancer synergy
- Look for Bat Wings and other Undead-specific Relics
- Plan for late-game scaling rather than early aggression
If the Flyer favors Fantasy Relics:
- Prioritize Wizard + Cleric as your core pair
- Seek Bloody Talisman and Clerical Error for the hybrid healer/damage build
- Aim for mid-game power spikes rather than scaling
If the Flyer favors Warrior/Employed Relics:
- Build an economy-heavy early game
- Use Gold advantages to buy Relics that compensate for weaker synergy

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions about How Many Dudes.
When does the Daily Dude refresh?
Daily Dude refreshes once every 24 hours at a set time. Check the mode select screen for the exact countdown timer. New challenges go live daily, giving you a fresh Pre-Posted Flyer configuration each day.
Can I practice for Today's Daily Dude before it goes live?
Yes. If yesterday's Flyer is still visible in the mode select, you can practice it in Ensemble Mode to pre-build strategies. However, you cannot earn Star ratings or record scores on a previous day's Flyer.
Do my Star ratings from Daily Dude affect Main Run?
Yes. All Star ratings earned in any mode — Daily Dude, Ensemble Mode, or Main Run — persist and carry over to your Main Run progression. Daily Dude Star ratings directly improve your starting conditions in future runs.
What happens if I do not finish a Daily Dude run before midnight?
In-progress Daily Dude runs can be completed after the daily refresh. However, only runs that were started before the refresh count for that day's leaderboard. Runs started after the refresh count toward the next day's challenge.
